How Do I Book A Session with You?
Booking a photo session with me is pretty quick and easy! Simply complete an Intake Form with all of the relevant information about your photo needs and I will get back to you with all the details you’ll need to book your session.
What is The Process After My Session is Booked?
Once you’ve paid the 50% fee for your photo session, the real fun begins! From there we can decide on a date, a location and if you need some assistance with your wardrobe, I’m happy to help with that as well!
After our photo session, I will carefully comb through all of the images that we captured together and remove any of the unflattering photos (e.g. blurry, out of focus, etc.). I will then send you a link to all of the unedited images for you to make your selections (this step does not apply to wedding photos). Once you’ve made your selections, I will then perform final edits and send them back to you via a digital link.
What Happens If I Need To Cancel/Reschedule My Photoshoot?
I know that somethings come up that are beyond your control. As such, I’m more than happy to reschedule our photoshoot one time if you find that you are no longer about to make it on the scheduled date. I simply ask that you provide a 24-48hr notice if possible.
What is the Best Time for A Photoshoot?
I am a natural light photographer so I LOVE shooting early in the morning (before 9am) for outdoor photo sessions. If we are shooting indoors, then I like to shoot anytime between 11:30am and 2:30pm.
What is the Turnaround Time For Photos?
The current turnaround time for photos is between 2-3 weeks (1 month for wedding photos). If you require photos sooner than this timeframe, please do not hesitate to inquire with me.
How Many Images Will I Receive Back?
The number of images you receive is all up to you! I operate on a pay per image pricing model which allows you to pick your favorite images and only pay for the ones you love.
Do You Have Any Recommended Locations?
You know I’ve got you covered when it comes to locations! Once your session is booked, I can send over a location guide for some of my favorite outdoor (and indoor if you’re interested) locations to capture photos.
Do You Offer Studio Photo Sessions?
If you’re interested in an in-studio photo session, I’d be more than happy to assist you in finding a studio for us to shoot in. Please note that there will be an additional fee associated with booking the studio space.
What Should I Wear for My Photo Session?
The key to a successful photoshoot is making sure that you are comfortable in what you’re wearing. Once your session has been booked, I can send you a wardrobe guide for your photo session that will help you decide on your outfit!
Do you provide ALL of the images from the Photo Session?
I do not provide all of the images from our photo session. Trust me, I want to show you in the MOST flattering light. As such, I take my time to weed through all of the images to find the best of the best. By the time you’ve seen the images, I’ve removed all of the blurry, out of focus images that will not do you any justice. Once I’ve sorted through the images, I will provide you with a link to all of the best images from our photo session. You’ll then be able to select the images that you’d like for me to edit and send back over to you.
Do you retouch images?
My photo packages all come with light photo editing (e.g. color correcting, cropping, color grading, etc.). If you’re interested in more detailed retouching, there is an additional charge per image depending on how extensive you’d like the retouching to be. My ultimate goal is to get as much right during the photoshoot so that minimal editing is needed.
May I Have ALL of the RAWs?
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide RAW images.
How Will My Images Be Delivered to Me?
Your images will be digitally delivered to you once they’ve been fully edited.
What is Your Travel Fee?
My travel fee for photo sessions within the United States is $1500 and for international travel the fee is $3000.
Do You Offer Prints?
Yes! If you’re interested in physical prints or photo albums, please let me know in your inquiry and I’ll send over more details.
Do I have the rights to the images or is that a separate fee?
Your package provides you with non-commercial rights to share your images on social media, your blog, etc.
If you’re interested in a commercial license (i.e. use in magazines, ads, for-profit website), rates start at $550 per image and $2500 for the full gallery from our session together.
